Here are a few things people say about Nadja.
If you are an existing student, feel free to submit your review.
I have been taking Nadja’s Vinyasa yoga classes for a year now and it has helped me progress a lot in my yoga practice. She understands her students well and customizes variations that helps each student advance at their own pace. Nadja always emphasizes the importance of breathing and posture throughout the practice and reminds… us to reconnect with breathing when the practice gets intense. After a good one hour of practice she takes us through a guided Shavasana session and brings us back to awareness through an aromatic oil treatment. I always get a great workout and feel relaxed after Nadja’s class. read more “”
Nadja is a sensitive, caring teacher
Nadja is a sensitive, caring teacher who offers private yoga sessions as well as group classes. Since everybody is unique, her approach to yoga is also individualized, not a one size fits all. In her classes, she works a lot with breath work, meditation and asana to achieve balance. She also offers several options as… modifications because her emphasis is on functionality rather than aesthetics. I would highly recommend Nadja! read more “Nadja is a sensitive, caring teacher”
I have been practicing yoga
I have been practicing yoga for many years, on and off, here and there, After my first class with Nadja 6 months ago, I could tell immediately that I like it, Nadja don’t push you hard on the pose, but her instruction is so clear, and with options of many alternatives, you can literally see… your improvement day after day. Every class Nadja has a different focus, that is how unique her class is. We can tell her what we want to do in the beginning of the class, whether we want to sweat or not ;), no kidding, we can tell her everything we want, that is how relax the environment can be. We practice on our core, lower back, stretch, and balance, etc. Nadja explains each move and the reason behind, I felt comfortable yet challenged. Sitting in the office for long hours daily, my blood circulation in the lower half body isn’t working very well. After these couple months of class with Nadja, I personally felt that my legs are gaining some strength back. I am very excited about the improvement, and looking forward to her class every Tuesday and Thursday, even though that means I have to reschedule my appointments and meetings. Come and join us, I am sure you will love her class too. read more “I have been practicing yoga”
I love Nadja’s Yin Yoga
I love Nadja’s Yin Yoga classes! I’ve been going to her classes twice a week for about 6 months, and I feel so good after each class. She’s inspired me to commit to Yin Yoga as a regular part of my weekly practice. I highly recommend her!
I seriously look forward to
I seriously look forward to every single session with Nadja. She has become such an important part of my life since I began as a private client of hers. Every class is different and tailored to what my needs are that day. She is extremely adaptable and creative in teaching her practice and making it… work for me and for my body. She goes above and beyond for her clients and even lets me bring my dog to the yoga room where we meet. We call it Doga! At the end of every class, she offers me time for a savasana with essential oils and acupressure, which has become a very healing and poignant part of each session for me. Nadja is the real deal and embodies the type of yogi and person that we all can be inspired by. Xoxo Leeanne read more “I seriously look forward to”
Nadja is warm and welcoming.
Nadja is warm and welcoming. Her classes can be challenging, but she teaches students to practice yoga with integrity-to listen carefully to their own body and to respect where they are and what they need without judgement. Her knowledge and understanding of yoga postures and philosophy is extensive. She incorporates the underlying concepts of yoga… into her teaching, helping her students develop their body’s relationship with each asana and to begin to open their heart and mind with their practice. Nadja begins each class by asking students how they are and what they need. She can create a class to meet those needs on the spot. She effortlessly incorporates mindfulness into her teaching in every class, whether it be her candlelight vinyasa or yin. She gets to know her students and gently challenges them to extend their practice. Nadja has helped me use props and modifications while healing from a knee injury. I have seen her balance the range of ability and experience of a class to help beginners, challenge advanced students and safely support a pregnant woman right up to her delivery. Last, but most definitely not least are her yin classes. I have been taking Nadja’s yin class twice a week at East West Yoga for a year and a half and they are my favorite. She teaches pranayama and creates guided meditations for her classes. Both are deeply relaxing. Nadja takes time to do gentle adjustments on each student during class. She teaches us the difference between pain, which indicates you need to modify the pose to fit your body, and discomfort, which you can learn to get through by focusing your attention on your breath. This teaching has not only extended my yoga practice, but has helped me be more patient and resilient in my life outside the studio. read more “Nadja is warm and welcoming.”
